McBusted have been announced as One Direction’s support act for their shows in Australia this year.
The band posted a video yesterday, announcing that they would be accompanying the 1D boys on their jaunt around Australia next month.
The Australian leg of their ‘On The Road Again’ tour kicks off in Sydney on February 7th, as the start of their 7-date run over there.
Of course, McBusted and One Direction are pretty much BFFs now, and the boys stepped in as the support act on a few of 1D’s ‘Where We Are’ tour dates last year.
Nialler tweeted his excitement about heading out on tour with McBusted:
He then added:
The boys even hinted at the idea of a collaboration live on stage, as McBusted’s Matt Willis tweeted to Niall: “dude so stoked!!! Gonna be Sick! Gotta get you up to sing my verse of 3am!!!”, to which Nialler replied: “I’ll do anything to sing that !”
We wonder if McBusted will tour the UK with One Direction, or anywhere else?

One Direction have once again been nominated at the Brit Awards!
The boys could pick up two awards on the night next month, with the main one being “British Group”, their third consecutive nomination in the category.
It’s an award they’ve still not managed to win, being beaten to the title by Mumford and Sons in 2013 and Arctic Monkeys last year.
They once again have some tough competition, with Coldplay and “Rather Be” stars Clean Bandit also in the category. Royal Blood and Alt-J complete the shortlist.
The boys are also nominated for “British Video”, for their amazing “You & I” clip. It’s a very strong category though, with another nine videos also nominated!
Stars such as Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Mark Ronson, Ed Sheeran and Calvin Harris could also win the award, as could Charli XCX, Duke Dumont, Route 94 and Sigma.
One Direction have so far won four Brit Awards. “What Makes You Beautiful” was voted “Single of the Year” in 2012, while “Best Song Ever” won the “British Video” award at last year’s ceremony. They’ve also picked up the “BRITs Global Success” award for two years running.
Unfortunately, they won’t be at this year’s ceremony, which will be hosted by geordie duo Ant & Dec. When it takes place on 25th February at the O2 Arena, the boys will be on their “On The Road Again” tour, performing at the Osaka Dome in Japan.
Good luck boys!
One Direction’s fifth studio album is coming our way very soon…
After release of their fourth studio album “FOUR”, there was quite a lot of speculation around whether they would be releasing a fifth album or not.
Of course, we NEVER doubted that the boys would be releasing a fifth album – and now it’s been confirmed that they will be doing!
In fact, the boys are so keen to put out a fifth album that they’ve already started working on it.
“There has been a bit of a question about the timing of the fifth album,” an insider told The Sun: “But there was never any doubt it would be released, despite the ridiculous speculation.”
Of course, we never trust these sources one hundred percent but we’re certainly staying optimistic about this.
Apparently, the boys were planning on having some downtime for a bit, following the release of their latest album. Thankfully, they’ve gone against that decision and decided to get cracking in the studio!
The Sun’s source added: “Initially the guys thought they might want more time away from the studio because they’ve been busy promoting ‘Four’. But they’ve been itching to get back recording again because it’s what they love to do, so it’s full steam ahead.”
We’re SO excited for the boys’ fifth album!
What do you think it should be called?
