One Direction have once again picked up nominations at the Brit Awards!

Last year, the band performed “One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)” live at the award ceremony, and picked up the first ever “Global Success” award.

As well as that, they were nominated for “British Group” but lost out to Mumford & Sons.

This year, the boys will once again compete for “British Group”, this time facing bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Disclosure, and Rudimental.

Track “One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)” has gained the boys a nomination for “British Single”, but they’re against songs by Bastille, Calvin Harris, Disclosure, Ellie Goulding, John Newman, Naughty Boy, Olly Murs, Passenger and Rudimental.

Although the boys are only nominated in two categories, they could pick up another two nominations soon.

A category for ‘Best Music Video’ is set to be announced soon, and as the nominations are based on YouTube views, One Direction are likely to get some recognition.

It’s also likely that they’ll once again be nominated for the “Global Success” award, which they won last year.

The Brit Awards Ceremony takes place on 19th February from 8PM UK time. It will feature performances from stars such as Beyoncé, Ellie Goulding, Katy Perry, Arctic Monkeys, Bastille and Bruno Mars.
