Louis Tomlinson has finally pulled on a Doncaster shirt to make his football debut for the club!
He signed up to his favourite football club back in August 2013, in aid of charity Bluebell Woods Hospice.
He was originally set to make his first appearance in September, but was forced to pull out after getting injured in another charity match.
Last night, he finally made his first appearance for Doncaster, playing against the team’s South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham.
Louis didn’t start the match, but was eventually brought on by manager Paul Dickov in the 65th minute.
During the game, Louis is reported to have had a few chances on the ball, but the match eventually ended in a 0-0 draw.
After the match, Louis tweeted: “Wow what an incredible experience . Can’t put into words how I feel I will never forget pulling on my own Doncaster Rovers shirt !!
“Really can’t thank the team, the gaffer and every single person involved at Doncaster Rovers enough ! I feel like a 10 year old again !”
Around 5000 directioners from all over the world attended the match at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium, and Louis thanked them in a tweet: “And obviously a huge huge thank you to everyone who came down a real credit to our fans hope it was a good day out !”
