Yesterday, at Leicester’s King Power Stadium, Niall Horan’s Football Challenge finally took place.

Following three shows at Croke Park in a row, there was no resting for the band, as team manager Niall threw players Harry, Liam and Louis onto the pitch, alongside a host of celebrities and former professionals.

Zayn was the only band member not there to watch One Direction’s team, which featured comedy stars James Corden, Jack Whitehall and John Bishop, as well as Boyzone singer Ronan Keating.

Meanwhile, facing off against them was journalist and chat show host Piers Morgan, whose team included another Boyzone band member Keith Duffy, and ex-pro player Robbie Savage.

Loads of Directioners turned up to the event, which was held in aid of the Irish Autism Action charity.

The match finished as a 1-1 tie, with Harry Styles scoring the only goal for Team Niall. It then went to a penalty shoot out to settle the score, which was unfortunately won by Piers’s team! Ah well, unlucky Niall!

Anyway, it wasn’t all a good day for Piers – at one point in the afternoon, Harry snuck up behind him and pulled down his shorts! Watch the clip below…

Also, check out the clip of Harry scoring a goal and running over to manager Niall to celebrate!

None of the boys have tweeted since the match – we’re sure they’re exhausted!

Winning manager Piers Morgan has obviously been unbearably happy on Twitter since the match, but did take some time out of boasting to write:

Have to say, in all seriousness, that @NiallOfficial did a fantastic job today raising a lot of cash for @Irishautism – proud of you, mate.

Were you at the match yesterday?
