With the boys’ European leg of their ‘Where We Are’ tour coming to a close in Spain we’ve been scouring the internet tirelessly for video footage of the lads adding a special something into their usual set list.

But we weren’t expecting to find this.

While in Madrid on the 10th of July, Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn, and Liam decided to take us all back to their X-Factor days. They broke out into their rendition of ‘Viva La Vida’ by Coldplay during karaoke time, rendering us, quite honestly, into a blubbering, sobbing mess. And, after doing a little bit more digging on YouTube, we found out that they also broke out into that song while in Turin, Italy earlier this month.

Now if you’d like to put yourself through a little bit of torture we’ll put the video down below. But we must warn you, it isn’t for the faint of heart. And you’d probably be wise to grab a tissue box while you’re at it.

And if that wasn’t enough to render you to a puddle of X-Factor feels….the stadiums the boys played in in Spain and Italy were outside….the weather was poor….those lucky Directioners at those concerts got to watch the boys perform positively soaking wet.

We’re not the only ones who were positively freaking out, either.

Flashbacks all the way back to week one on the X-Factor, four years ago niallmate! It’s hard to believe that they’ve come this far in such a short amount of time.

Were you one of the lucky ones to see ‘wet Direction’ or hear them perform ‘Viva La Vida’? If not, what song from their X-Factor days would you like to hear them sing at your concert? Let us know in the comments below!
