We’re into the last quarter of the year, and it’s usually around this time things start to get exciting in the One Direction world.

All three of their albums have been released in November so far, and that trend looks set to continue. But first, how about about a single?

With their first two albums, they released their lead singles in September, but last year we had the early July release of “Best Song Ever”, to coincide with the big “This Is Us” movie.

So, with there being no big 3D blockbuster movie this year (apart from October’s exciting concert film, of course), could we be going back to a September release?

It looks very likely we’ll be hearing some new music from One Direction this month, with possible lead single “One Chance To Dance” premiering in the next few weeks.

Whatever gets released will be followed by the band’s huge fourth album, which they have worked on alongside stars such as Naughty Boy, McFly, Kodaline and The 1975.

And if we weren’t excited enough already, Niall has taken to Twitter to get us even more hyped up for the new record.

He tweeted on Monday: “Just listening to tracks from the new album!

“Jesus this is exciting,” he teased. “Really can’t wait for u to hear this album! By far my favourite yet”

He previously tweeted back in August: “Love this time of year, decisions. Album artwork, album title, music video ideas ! can’t wait for you guys to hear and see what we’re doing”

It sounds like Niall is just as excited as the rest of us!
