One Direction have once again been nominated at the Brit Awards!

The boys could pick up two awards on the night next month, with the main one being “British Group”, their third consecutive nomination in the category.

It’s an award they’ve still not managed to win, being beaten to the title by Mumford and Sons in 2013 and Arctic Monkeys last year.

They once again have some tough competition, with Coldplay and “Rather Be” stars Clean Bandit also in the category. Royal Blood and Alt-J complete the shortlist.

The boys are also nominated for “British Video”, for their amazing “You & I” clip. It’s a very strong category though, with another nine videos also nominated!

Stars such as Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Mark Ronson, Ed Sheeran and Calvin Harris could also win the award, as could Charli XCX, Duke Dumont, Route 94 and Sigma.

One Direction have so far won four Brit Awards. “What Makes You Beautiful” was voted “Single of the Year” in 2012, while “Best Song Ever” won the “British Video” award at last year’s ceremony. They’ve also picked up the “BRITs Global Success” award for two years running.

Unfortunately, they won’t be at this year’s ceremony, which will be hosted by geordie duo Ant & Dec. When it takes place on 25th February at the O2 Arena, the boys will be on their “On The Road Again” tour, performing at the Osaka Dome in Japan.

Good luck boys!
